You Can't Have Everything

Yippee! I just got off work early today. Which is a good thing, coz for some reason, I'm feeling hella tired today. Snores. Before I scooted out though I left with goodies in my hands. I ended up buying myself the complete fourth season of The Hills to keep myself occupied for a few days (mainly coz i cbfed surfthechanneling it, think i'm killing my wireless) and Ministry of Sounds CLUBBERS GUIDE Spring 2009 to listen to in my car. I got them for reaaally cheap coz of staff discount and promotion discount! I was choosing between the City and the Hills, but decided to go with the latter coz I need to finish off before I start something new. Yay. Somebody is a very happy chappy at the momentttttt.


I've also almost finished reading "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult. Honestly, it doesn't normally take me 2 months to read a book, but I'm kinda freaking myself out because I'm almost done! I'm not a slow reader, I just get drowsy really easily! Looks like I'm gonna need to raid Borders again soon to find myself another good read. Ah, I like the smell of new books. Plus I'm gonna need some books to fill my new bookshelf, which brings me on to speak of the next subject.

So I was in the car day dreaming about the things I need to spend money on and out of no where my daddy goes: Carolyn, I'm gonna give you two options. You only get to choose one. If you pick one you cannot have the other okay? What do you want more, painting your bedroom hot pink like you wanted or I'll buy you that $340 Ikea desk.

(and im thinking what???!! D: coz i really wanted both... :( but i guess i can't have everything. so i thought about it as my dad tried to justify the options, he was totes biased though, playing for the desk's team, coz he cbf painting for me and that the colour wouldn't match with the rest of the house and that nobody would even see it and the desk would help me study more and coz its pretty and expensive, blah blah blah. i thought about for a long time, and i guess painting my room isn't that big of a deal and i really badly wanted that desk and it would save me from saving up for it. so it was decided, that i will get that sexy desk instead of painting my bedroom.) me and parents are going to ikea tomorrow to look at it in real life. ahh ikea! i love ikea! i can't wait haha. anywho, time to watch the hills!
