Does It Ever Get Easier - No, But You Do Get Better At It.

I've just watched the pilot (aka. first episode) of "The Good Wife" just then. I didn't realise when I bought it, but the magazine I was just reading contained a free copy of the first episode of the highly talked about television series. I gotta say, I AM SO HOOKED already! I wanna know what happens next! The plotline is awesome and the CAST, so spot on. Respect, respect, respect for Julianna Margulies (the actress who plays Alicia Florrick). She's so poised and awesome. I don't know why, but she kinda made me reminded me or made me picture what Jessica Szohr (Vanessa from Gossip Girl) would look like in about 10 years. There's nothing to hate about her!

BACKGROUND INFO WITHOUT RUINING THE STORYLINE FOR YOU!
Basically, she's like the wife of a politician who's been convicted of political and sexual scandals and she plays the good wife that stood by him, despite her humiliation. Then after he's in jail, she returns to her old job, BEFORE being the "good wife" as a junior defence attorney. She kinda has a hard time getting back in, because she's a bit older than the rest of them, people are holding the fact that she was married to Peter Florrick (which btw is played by "B.I.G from Sex And The City) and they try to prove that she's incompetent, incapable of doing her job. Luckily enough, she kicks ASS and the show is freakin awesome coz the minute you think she's gonna fail hard, she unpredictably picks it right back up and elegantly shoves it back in your face.

favourite scene
when state attorney what-his-face that looks like bart bass, reason for peter's downfall goes up to alicia and "tells her off" coz he thinks she's being a nuisance to the law firm.

mr childs (attorney guy): you know peter's using you right?
alicia: how do you figure?
mr childs: mrs florrick please.... don't make yourself collateral damage here
alicia: mr childs, the day you leaked that sex tape to the press and forced me to shield my children from every cable news channel that played it on a 24-hour rotation, THAT was the day i became collateral damage.
if you're worried about my husband, mr childs *chuckles then goes serious again*
you've obviously never made a woman angry before.
*death stare* walks off.

HAHA I LOVE IT. it's pretty true though, step on the toes of an angry woman and you're laaaters!

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE REST OF THE EPISODES WHEN IT AIRS IN FEBRUARY!
